We are seeking a highly skilled Master Technician to join our automotive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while providing advanced technical support to workshop teams. This role is ideal for an experienced technician with strong diagnostic capabilities and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer and industry-standard diagnostic equipment.
- ✓Inspect, service, maintain, and repair vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
- ✓Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- ✓Carry out engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical repairs.
- ✓Complete vehicle health checks and detailed inspection reports.
- ✓Support and mentor junior technicians and workshop staff.
- ✓Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- ✓Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation.
- ✓Follow all health and safety procedures within the workshop environment.
- ✓Provide technical advice and support to service advisors and customers where required.
- ✓Keep up to date with manufacturer training and technological developments.
Requirements
- ✓Qualified Automotive Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- ✓Master Technician accreditation or manufacturer-specific certification preferred.
- ✓Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
- ✓Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
- ✓Experience using modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
- ✓Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- ✓Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- ✓Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- ✓Full UK driving licence.
- ✓Right to work in the United Kingdom.
